Dear Birthmother,
We first want to say how incredibly grateful we are to you. While we can’t possibly imagine what you must be going through, we want you to know how brave and strong we think you are and that we will be here to support you. We have such deep respect for what you are going through and we want you to know this decision for your baby shows unconditional love. If you choose us to be your baby’s parents, we will love him or her as if they were our own and they will grow up in a home surrounded by love.
The only thing we want for our child is to be happy, loved unconditionally, have endless opportunities, and to grow up to be whomever and whatever they want to be.
We will do everything we can to help them achieve all of their dreams. Our child will be given the love, support, protection, and security that all children deserve and they will be raised to be kind, gentle, and loving. We are also extremely fortunate to have jobs with great benefits. As a Starbucks manager, Michael will be able to take up to 18 weeks off from work to be home with the baby. As a school teacher, Sid always gets 2-3 months off for summer break in addition to all school breaks such as winter break, spring break, and all holidays. We plan to be at home with our child as much as possible, especially during the first year. We look forward to being active dads.
